Connecting to Campus Wifi - Eduroam - Android
Note: Eduroam Wifi connection steps for android phones and tablets can differ based on brand.

Select the "Eduroam" wireless network in the Wifi settings of your android device.

In the "Eduroam" setup you will need to populate the following fields accordingly. Only enter details that are compulsory and highlighted in red for you to be able to connect.
- EAP method - "PEAP"
- Phase 2 authentication - "MSCHAPV2"
- CA certificate - "Don’t validate" or "NONE"
- Domain - "sit.ac.nz"
- Identity - Your SIT email address (examples - student: 2023XXXXX@student.sit.ac.nz or staff: firstname.surname@sit.ac.nz)
- Anonymous Identity - (only if asked - use same as Identity)
- Password - your SIT password
- You may get a message stating that they cannot verify certificate - you will get an option to connect anyway. Select this.

Select "Auto reconnect "if returning to Campus.
- Click on "Connect"
You should now be connected. Any technical issues with this please raise a Helpdesk ticket.
When your password changes you need to go in and 'Forget the Connection' and then reconnect to Eduroam Wifi.. Not doing this will mean you will lose access to Eduroam and can also cause your account to be locked so its important that you update the details as soon as possible.
