Password setup

Step 1: Go to the self-help password reset website through https://reset.sit.ac.nz/

Step 2: Enter your SIT email i.e., student_ID@student.sit.ac.nz (e.g., 202300XXXX@student.sit.ac.nz)

Step 3: You will receive a call on your phone to verify your identity. Please pick the call and press the hash # key.

Step 4: While setting a new password the requirements are, minimum 14 characters including at least one of each, small letter, capital letter and a number. Additionally, it cannot have your name or your date of birth in it. For returning students you cannot use any of your past 25 passwords.

Step 5: Go to your MYSIT portal through https://my.sit.ac.nz/
